Our swimming lessons

Baw Baw Swim School offers swimming lessons for all ages, from toddlers as young as three to adults. Our teaching philosophy starts with instilling respect for water and then fosters a love for it. We empower children to build confidence and respect for water, equipping them with essential skills to enhance their safety and enjoyment.

Our instructors are AUSTSWIM certified at a minimum, and all of them share a passion for swimming and teaching children across Gippsland to learn to swim and learn to love swimming.

Details of our class levels follow, to help you identify where your child is at now and keep track of them over the course of their lessons.

We welcome you to come and try by booking a free swimming lesson trial at Warragul, Drouin or Sale. Please get in touch.

  • What makes us the best swim school in Gippsland for kinder-aged kids?

Classes for our kinder kids are provided in a safe, nurturing and fun environment where every child can progress at their own rate, fully supported by our experienced and kind swimming instructors.

Our low teacher-to-student ratio ensures your child’s individual needs are catered for.

All children are assessed according to ability, not their age.

While in the Jellyfish stage, you can expect your child to start swimming horizontally, begin to use a flutter kick and overarm action, and gain a stronger understanding of water safety principles.
